Training, qualifications & experience

Experience

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, community mental health services, Refugee and asylum seekers services, Family courts (couples therapy), ACC (Government funded therapy for survivors of sexual abuse), Justice dept. (Group work with men in the courts system, living without violence), EAP, University (student health) and private practice.
All this, together with the experience of a life lived is what I bring to my work.

Qualifications

I am a qualified psychotherapist from the AUT psychotherapy program in Auckland NZ. I qualified in 2001 and from there worked across many sectors of the mental health, therapeutic sector.
I have also completed many professional development courses again in NZ…all of which and my clinical experience have been recognised by the Bacp here in the UK….

Member Organisations

I am member of BACP and adhere to their set of guidelines and ethics and have regular supervision with a senior member of this organisation.
